Lifestyle Block Fertiliser Specialists
If you’ve got 1–20 hectares (or bigger) and haven’t been using fertiliser, your pasture is likely underperforming. Over time, nutrient deficiencies reduce grass growth, weaken clover, and impact the health of your animals.
We offer two fertiliser application options tailored to your property size and terrain. For properties under 6 hectares with flat to rolling country, Fast 4 Foliar can be applied using a conventional spray system. For larger properties over 6 hectares, our customised Suspension Fertiliser is applied efficiently using specialised spray equipment and includes soil testing.
Lifestyle blocks often sit between farming and residential land, which means they need a different approach to fertiliser and pasture management. Our focus is simple, provide practical, tailored fertiliser programmes that improve soil health, grow better pasture, and support the animals on your property.
“At Lifestyle Fert, we focus on building stronger, more productive pastures that directly support animal health”
For lifestyle properties 6 hectares or less
For lifestyle properties/farms larger than 6 hectares
Key Trace Minerals such play important roles in both plant and animal function
Copper supports enzyme activity, pasture metabolism, and is essential for animal fertility, immune function, and bone development. Low Copper levels in soils can reduce pasture mineral content and contribute to deficiencies in livestock.
Selenium is critical for animal immunity, reproduction, muscle function, and growth. Selenium deficient soils are common in many farming regions, and research shows selenium applied to soil or foliage can increase selenium levels in pasture available to grazing animals.
Cobalt is required for the production of Vitamin B12 in ruminants. Pasture grown on cobalt-deficient soils can lead to poor animal growth and reduced energy metabolism, particularly in sheep and young stock.
Iron is involved in chlorophyll production and plant energy transfer, while also supporting oxygen transport and blood health in animals.
Zinc plays a key role in plant growth hormones, root development, and disease resistance, while supporting skin health, hoof integrity, immunity, and reproduction in livestock.
Magnesium is essential for animal health because it supports muscle and nerve function, energy production, and strong bone development.
Other macro and micro elements include ; Nitrogen, Potassium, Sulfur, Phosphoric Acid, Kelp Extract and Humic Acid.
