Suspension Fertiliser
How It Works
1. Soil Testing
We visit your lifestyle block and carry out a soil test to understand your property's nutrient requirements. Soil testing is $390 + GST per test (typically one test per soil type).
2. Laboratory Analysis
Your soil samples are sent to an accredited laboratory, with results usually available within three weeks.
3. Personalised Recommendation
We review the results and prepare a customised fertiliser programme tailored to your soil conditions and production goals.
4. Approval & Ordering
Once you're happy with the recommendation, we arrange the fertiliser order and prepare for application.
5. Custom Blending
Your fertiliser is blended specifically for your property, ensuring the right nutrients are supplied in the right balance. Processing generally takes 1–3 weeks.
6. Application
We return to apply the fertiliser to your pasture, lawn, or lifestyle block using the most suitable application method.
Pricing
Fertiliser programmes are priced according to your soil test results and property requirements.
As a guide, fertiliser costs typically range from $170–$220 per hectare, plus application.
Small lifestyle blocks can be serviced using our small spreader on flat to rolling terrain.
For larger or steeper properties, we can arrange helicopter application or experienced ground-spreading contractors.
Payment Terms
Payment is due within 7 days of the application date or agreed terms.
Nutrient Flow: Soil → Plant → Animal Health
While traditional granular fertilisers remain a core part of many nutrient programmes, advances in agricultural science now make it possible to go further with suspension and foliar fertilisers offering a more efficient, targeted, and sustainable solution.
UPTAKE’S custom blended suspension fertilisers are scientifically formulated to deliver precise nutrient availability, support animal health, and minimise environmental losses.
"At Lifestyle Fert, we treat nutrients in combination, not isolation, creating balanced nutrition that supports healthier soils, stronger plants, and better returns per hectare."
With superior coverage, fine-particle delivery, and flexible application options including tow and fert, helicopter, and drone, we ensure even distribution and rapid uptake across all terrain and farm types.
Essential Elements
