FAQs
Do I need a soil test before applying fertiliser?
Not for our Fast 4 Foliar, this is a ready made soluable fertiliser. If you are running a full time farming system we strongly recommend soil testing first. A soil test allows us to design a tailored fertiliser blend that gives your soil exactly what it needs.
Do you provide custom fertiliser blends?
Yes. We specialise in tailored fertiliser blends designed specifically for your soil and pasture needs rather than using generic fertiliser products.
Do you supply and spread fertiliser?
Yes. We provide delivery and onsite fertiliser application, so you don’t need to organise spreading equipment. If you do have the right spray equipment, we can supply product only.
What is the cost?
Applied

DYI
20L container $220 + gst
200L drum $1,200 + gst
IBC 1,000L pod $5,300 + gst

Do you work with farms of all sizes?
Absolutely, we work with farms and properties of all sizes.
Lifestyle Fert focuses on helping clients with lifestyle blocks from around 1 to 20 hectares, providing advice and onsite application of fertiliser to keep pastures and animals healthy and productive.
For larger properties (generally over 20 hectares), we can also connect you with our parent company Uptake Fert Limited, who specialise in working with larger farming operations. You can learn more at uptake.co.nz
No matter the size of your property, our goal is to make sure you get the right advice and the right products applied properly to your land.
How soon can we start after the initial consultation?
Call us - most first applications can be within 2 weeks. From there we book you into the Fast 4 program.
Most projects kick off within three - four weeks of the soil testing, allowing time for preliminary data gathering and product manufacturing. This may vary due to the time of year.
What payment terms do you offer?
Invoices are sent from Xero, making it easy to review and pay promptly.
Payment is due 7 days from application.
If you have a larger project or ongoing service, we’re happy to discuss invoicing arrangements that suit your situation. Our goal is to keep things clear and hassle-free so you can focus on looking after your property.
